This Week We

We went on several impromptu family dates this week. First to Dairy Queen. And then to see the new Sherlock Holmes at the theater on our street. We ate homemade Chinese food with friends and watched two too many scary movies (Signs and The Village. I hadn't seen the second and just bits of the first). We made cookies, hair bows and thrift store trips, and I'm happy to say that all of those endeavors were a success.

Aubryn's becoming a quick little army crawler and her scoots across the floor are slowly turning into full fledged, tummy-off-the-ground crawls. And as if that developmental milestone wasn't enough, she's getting so anxious to start walking. She pulls herself up on everything and always tries to walk while holding our hands. With the amount of mischief she gets into scooting, I can't imagine what she'll be able to do as a walker.

I also tweet and pin. Here are a few of this week's favorite finds I wanted to share with you:

-A new way to think about being too busy.
-Finally, beautiful religious art for children.
-365 days with Anna.
-This was just added to my bucket list.
-Pantone tarts.
-This, my friends, is George Clooney.
-How cool are these pans? I want all of them. And a kitchen big enough to display them all like that.
-And while we're on the subject... This might be the perfect living room.
-A beautiful spring throw.
-This makes me feel like dancing.

And I probably will. Because it's the weekend. And those are my favorite. Happy Friday, everyone!
