Letters From Felix

I wanted to tell you guys about one of my favorite children's books. I loved reading it as a little girl and I love reading it to Aubryn now.

It's called Letters From Felix. It's written by Annette Langen, with illustrations by Constanza Droop. It's a story about a stuffed rabbit named Felix who, after being separated from his owner in an airport, tours the world before finally making his way back home.

While I love the story and all the little tidbits shared about the various countries Felix visits, my favorite part of this book are his letters. Every couple pages there is an envelope containing Felix's letter and sometimes you can find other goodies stuffed inside, too. The letters contain parts of the story that can't be found elsewhere in the book and make reading the story much more fun. When I was a kid, I always felt so special when I read this book, like the letters and goodies were meant just for me and that no other book had them.

Did anyone else read this book as a child, or do you read it to your kids now? What are some of your favorite children's books?
