Curated // Aubryn's Summer Wardrobe

Sometimes I just want to start a children's style blog. To me, it's much more fun to look at baby clothes than women's, and it's much easier to pick outfits for Aubryn than for myself. And really, who doesn't like looking at pictures of cute babe's in cute clothes?

I shared my summer wardrobe yesterday, and today I wanted to share Aubryn's. Spoiler alert: it's (basically) all from Zara kids. I couldn't help myself.

On top: I love these simple variations to the classic T. Especially the white one. And the stripes. But we all know how I love stripes. Again, tops like these are perfect for every occasion because they can be both dressy and casual. (Find these tops here, here, here & here.)

Layering: I'm so glad that jean jackets are coming back in style. I love them. Especially mini size.Since having a little girl, I've learned that even babies have a color they look good in. One of Aubryn's? Red. (Find the jacket here & the cardigan here.)

On bottom: I'm a firm believer that babe's look best in skinny legged pants. And, if I'm going to have cropped trousers, then why shouldn't Aubryn? Since short season has finally begun to grace us with its presence, I've started to learn what kind of summer clothes work best for my little one. These shorts, that get a bit tighter around the legs, are by far the best. Other shorts always seem to big on Aubryn's legs and make her look like a little gangster. (Find the trousers here & the shorts here.)

On her feet: Having pudgy feet is the girl's curse. It's so difficult to find sandals that fit. These sandals seem like they're made for chubby baby feet. Plus, that leather fringe is irresistible. The lace-ups are made of soft fabric, making them an easy fit and instant friends with her feet. (Find these shoes here & here.)

By the pool: I'm pretty sure that a swim cap is an essential baby swimming gear. I mean, this swimsuit and cap are basically a package deal, so... you know. And when she's not in the water, this hairband will keep her almost-hairless head safe from the sun. (Find the swim cap here, swimming suit here & the hairband here.)

Anyone else dreaming about their babe's summer wardrobe? This is basically Aubryn's first summer, so I'm pretty excited to experience these warm months and all the fun that comes with them with her!

    1. I know, right?! Unbelievably cute. I think I would die if I saw her wearing that to the pool!

  2. Is Aubryn your daughter? I have a daughter named Aubryn and she is 23. We thought we made the name up, but have found a few since then that are a bit older. My Aubryn is a singer/songwriter in Nashville, TN and could use someone like you to pick her clothes. (She would not be happy with my saying that.) Anyway, super cute clothes.

    1. I thought I made that name up too. :-) My Aubryn is almost two. I loved the name Aubrie and my husband wanted a "yn" ending name, so we compromised.

  3. BTW, does she like to sing? Artistic talent? Just curious.
