life lists.

I want to live a meaningful life. I want to do things that matter. That affect change. That bring joy, to myself and others.

I want to do a lot of things. But rarely do I write them down. And making plans to actually accomplish those wants is even more of a rarity.

I wrote a bucket list when I was in high school. It was full of insincere, cliche goals and ideals, most of which I either copied from a friend's list or snatched off a movie. I look back on that list now and can only pick out one or two items that still hold any real meaning.

So I've decided to create a life list. Full of things that I want to do that will fill my days with joy. That will help me help others. That will help me become the person I want to become.

And instead of putting a simple check box next to each item, I'll list out action steps underneath. This time, I won't just jot down dreams; I'll set goals and make plans.

It'll be work in progress. I'll keep you updated as items make their way onto the list. And as they're crossed off.

But in the meantime... what would you put on your life list? What are your plans?
