let's talk about this for a minute.

1 out of 8 children in America go to bed hungry.

every year, 15 million children die of hunger.

the money spent on one missile could provide 5 years worth of lunches for starving children.

and the assets of the world's 3 richest men are more than the combined GNP of all of the least developed countries on the planet.

every year, an estimated 43 billion dollars worth of edible food is thrown away.

yet 850 million people are starving.

the other night at work, i watched 5 full pans of food be thrown away. and that happens almost every day.

doesn't really make sense to me. that's all.
